GUWAHATI, March 21 - The anti-mosquito fogging has covered 19 out of the 31 wards of the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) which is under way since March 17.
The drive, being carried out jointly by the GMC and District Medical Office (DMO), will be continued till March 29.
�The fogging action plan has been prepared for all 31 wards of the city. Fogging operation was carried out on a priority basis in railway stations, railway colonies and government offices on the first day. Initially, it is being carried out to the other areas of the city. The GMC with the help of DMO has intensified fogging across the city to prevent cases of dengue and other mosquito-transmitted diseases,� GMC chief medical officer Anindita Chanda said.
