Anshu set to create Guinness record

ITANAGAR, April 7 (PTI): Arunachalee Everester Anshu Jamsenpa is all set to create a Guinness record by attempting to make double ascent of the world�s highest peak Mount Everest in less than 10 days in her expedition for the fourth time, which was flagged off here today.

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju flagged off the expedition in a simple ceremony in the presence of officials of the tourism department.

The 35-year-old Anshu, who holds the world record of climbing the Everest thrice, is set to break her own record and attempting to ascend the world highest peak twice within a span of 7 days.

She achieved her earlier world record in 2011 when she climbed the Everest twice in a span of ten days.
