Another chargesheet filed in APSC scam case

GUWAHATI, June 13 - Dibrugarh Police today filed the tenth chargesheet in connection with the cash-for-job scam in the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC).

Investigating officer of the case, Surjeet Singh Panesar, submitted the chargesheet with the Court of Special Judge, Assam.

The chargesheet has named Rakesh Kumar Paul, the suspended chairman of the APSC, and other arrested government officials, including Vikash Kumar Pincha, Kunal Das, Pallabi Sarma Chowdhury and Sunayana Aidew, as accused.

The chargesheet has incorporated the latest findings of the investigators vis-�-vis the involvement of Paul and other accused in the scam.

Further, the investigators have sought eight weeks� time from the court pleading that the more reports from the Forensic Science Laboratory are expected soon.
