AIZAWL, June 3 - The total number of COVID-19 cases in Mizoram rose to 13 after a 30-year-old man tested positive late on Tuesday night.

The man, who had returned from Delhi on May 31, was under institutional quarantine. Later, he was shifted to the Zoram Medical College after developing fever.

His samples tested positive for COVID-19 late on Tuesday night, said Health Minister Dr R Lalthangliana.

The patient was not reactive to a rapid antibody test conducted on his arrival, Health officials said.

With this, the number of cases in Mizoram has gone up to 13, including a patient who has already recovered.
