Another award for Papon

GUWAHATI, April 8 - Singer Angaraag (Papon) Mahanta has bagged his fourth award this year as best playback singer for his song Moh Moh Ke Dhaage. Papon was adjudged the best playback singer at the 6th Global Indian Music Academy (GIMA) awards held at The Reliance Studios, Film City, Mumbai on Wednesday night.

Nominated alongside Arijit Singh (who had three songs in the line-up) and Mohit Chauhan, Papon won the award for his rendition of the soul track (Moh Moh Ke Dhaage) from the Hindi film Dum Laga Ke Haisha.

This was Papon�s fourth win this year for the same song after he collected the Best Singer (Male) award at the 22nd STAR Screen Awards, 8th Mirchi Music Awards and at TOIFA earlier this year. Papon was also nominated at the 61st Britannia Filmfare Awards 2016 and Zee Cine Awards 2016 for the same song.

The Global Indian Music Academy Awards (GIMA) Awards, an initiative by Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, was started in 2010.
