Annamalai varsity, Brahmaputra College ink MoU

GUWAHATI, Jan 21 - The Vice Chancellor of Annamalai University, Prof S Manian, along with the Director of the university, Dr M Arul, visited the Brahmaputra College here on January 17, a press release stated.

In a meeting held on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor signed an MoU with the Director of the Brahmaputra College, Nabajyoti Bharali and granted permission to the college to run several courses under the university and also promised to extend all support to the college in this regard.

Former Vice Chancellor of Dibrugarh University, Prof Kulendu Pathak, who is the chief adviser of the college, was also present in the meeting which was attended by the faculty members, staff and many students of the college.

The Vice Chancellor of Annamalai University subsequently visited the Gauhati University and had a meeting with its Vice Chancellor Dr Mridul Hazarika and discussed many issues related to collaboration of the two universities in promoting the education sector of the region.

In this regard, a decision was taken by both the universities to take steps to work together in the sector of research and technology.
