GUWAHATI, March 9 � Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare and noted writer Arundhati Roy, among others, will participate at a dharna to demand release of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) leader Akhil Gogoi at New Delhi�s Jantar Mantar on March 12.
In a press statement today, the peasant outfit said the dharna at New Delhi will also witness participation of students from the North East studying in the national capital.
Terming the arrest of Gogoi and other KMSS leaders for allegedly inciting the self-immolation of Pranab Boro last month during a protest here as a conspiracy, the outfit said it will intensify agitation for the release of their arrested comrades.
