Animal welfare body�s foundation day event

GUWAHATI, June 10 - JBF (India) Trust, also called JBF (Just Be Friendly), working for animal welfare in Guwahati, celebrated its 14th foundation day on Wednesday.

Marking the occasion, JBF conducted an awareness campaign among the general public focusing on two key topics � �Rabies control� and �Humane dog population management� � at various prime locations of Guwahati city.�

During the campaign, JBF members, maintaining the social distancing norms, verbally spread the message among the masses on the importance of rabies control and�effective procedure of humane dog population management, like animal birth control and anti-rabies vaccination initiative of JBF.

The JBF team also distributed informative leaflets among the public for better understanding and awareness on the topics.�

Since its inception in 2003 and subsequent commencement of work in 2007, JBF has been taking initiatives aimed at peaceful human-animal coexistence. Dr Sashanka Sekhar Dutta, chief functionary of JBF, urged everyone to keep loving animals, saying the animals need us now more than ever before.
