GUWAHATI, Nov 22 - Andhra Pradesh need 46 runs with four wickets in hand to take the first innings lead against Kerala in the Group C Ranji Trophy match at the Barsapara stadium here.
On the second day, in reply to Kerala�s 219 all out, Andhra were 173 for six when the stumps were drawn for the day.
Kerala managed to add 31 runs to their overnight score of 188 for eight.
The Andhra openers Srikar Bharat (54) and Prasanth Kumar (61) were in nice form and added 81 runs for the first wicket partnership to give their team a solid foundation. But after Bharat�s departure Andhra lost another quick wicket in the form of Hanuma Vihari (3). However, Ricky Bhui (47) built up an useful partnership with Prasanth Kumar (61) and the pair added 63 runs.
