DERGAON, May 4 � In a group D match played at the Golaghat stadium, Assam lost to Pondicherry 2-1. Podicherry�s Indu Makhi opened the account and in the latter part of the first, Pondicherry made it 2-1. For Assam the lone goal was scored by Dorothy Oria.
In the second match, Tamil Nadu beat Arunachal Pradesh 6-0. In the 3rd match of the day played at Butalikhowa, Jharkhand thrashed Uttarakhand 8-0.
