SHILLONG, Sept 4 - A woman vendor was found killed in the wee hours of Sunday at Police Bazaar.
The victim, identified as Anjana Singha, was killed by unidentified person(s) by slitting her throat. She also suffered injuries on her body and face. According to the police, the victim who sold fast food at Keating Road near Police Bazaar, was attacked when she was dropping her push cart near Lady Keane Gate after closing her business.
Police are scanning CCTV camera footages that are installed in Police Bazaar.
This is not the first time that incidences of attack on individuals were reported in Keating Road this year. There were others cases of assault and robbery, some even in daytime.
