GUWAHATI, April 5 - A woman aged about 35 years was reportedly trampled to death by a herd of wild elephants last night in Gajenpur hillside under Basistha police station here.
Police said that some of the people in the locality saw a herd of elephants coming out of the jungle and trampling the woman, who is yet to be identified.
The body, according to police, has been sent for postmortem.
