Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Ajaz Khan, Shubhangi Atre test Covid positive

Mumbai, April 5: Actor Vicky Kaushal has tested positive for Covid-19. His Instagram post with the health update on Monday came minutes after actress Bhumi Pednekar announced that she has tested positive for Covid-19.

Vicky informed that he is living under home quarantine and taking medication as prescribed. Vicky also requested all those who came in contact with him recently to get themselves tested.

"In Spite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for Covid-19. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Take care and stay safe," Vicky Kaushal shared in an Instagram post.

Shortly before this, Bhumi informed on social media that she has mild Covid symptoms and has isolated herself.

"Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain" actress Shubhangi Atre has tested positive for Covid-19.

The actress says she had mild symptoms on Monday morning and went for a rapid test, which indicated she had been infected.

"I have tested positive for Covid-19. I had mild symptoms after which I decided to get her test done today morning itself. And my rapid test reports show that I am Covid positive," she says.

The actress has a headache, but is otherwise feeling better.

"I am healthy but am suffering from a headache. I am on rest. I request people who have been around me since the last two-three days to take the required medical check up," she says.

Shubhangi is known for her role of Angoori Bhabhi in "Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain".

The actress has also featured in shows such as "Kasturi", "Do Hanson Ka Jodaa" and "Chidiya Ghar".

Actor and former "Bigg Boss" contestant Ajaz Khan, who was recently arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in an alleged drugs case, has reportedly tested positive for Covid-19 and is admitted to a hospital.

Sharing the news, celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani tweeted on Monday: "Actor Ajaz Khan, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drug case, has tested positive for COVID-19. He is being shifted to a hospital. The officer involved in this probe will also undergo COVID test: NCB. #AjazKhan #NCB #covidupdate."

Earlier on Monday, superstar Akshay Kumar had informed that he has been admitted to a hospital with Covid-19. Akshay had informed about himself contracting the virus on Sunday.

Bollywood actor Govinda and "Bandish Bandits" fame actor Ritwik Bhowmik had also informed on Sunday that they have tested positive for the virus.
