GUWAHATI, Sept 13 - A three-day training programme for Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) of Kamrup (Metro) district with respect to registration, payment and returns under the GST got under way at the Circuit House here yesterday.
The training programme is being conducted under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Gunajit Kashyap. The training will be provided by officials of the Commissionerate of Taxes namely, Arunima Choudhury, Bhaswati Das, Anjurani Baishya and Manoj
Panday.
Nearly 100 DDOs from various departments will take part in the training programme, which will conclude on September 14. Almost 450 officials will be trained under the programme, according to a press release.
