DIPHU, Sept 30 - All town committee elections in Karbi Anglong district have been deferred till November. This was announced in an Executive Committee (EC) meeting held here on Thursday at the chamber of the KAAC CEM. The elections will now be held along with the byelection to Baithalangso LAC which is likely to be held by November. The Baithalangso LAC seat was lying vacant after the resignation of Congress MLA Dr Mansing Rongpi.
