TINSUKIA, Jan 25 - Host Tinsukia sailed into the semifinals of the Group D JK Baruah Trophy U-19 Inter District Cricket Tournament. At the Katchujan Field here today, chasing a winning target of 80 in the second innings Tinsukia scored 83 for five to register a five-wicket victory against Nazira.
Earlier, resuming their second innings at an overnight score of 117 for 5, Nazira were all out for 139. For Tinsukia ,Gobind Dorjee claimed 6 wickets giving away 34 runs in 13.4 overs while Shekhar Gowala got three for 27.
The next match will be played between Golaghat and Dibrugarh on January 27 and 28.
