NAGAON, Jan 1 � The preparations for the 2nd State Games to be held from January 3 to 9 at here have been completed. The organizing committee has selected the venues for the games. Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi will inaugurate the meet on January 3.
Venues: Wrestling/ Nurul Amin Stadium, Wushu/ Police Reserve Indoor Hall, Table Tennis/ Indoor Hall of Nagaon Sports Association, Volleyball (Men)/ Samaguri Community Hall, (Women) Bhutaigaon Sports Ground, Karate/ Bhutaigaon Sports Ground, Kabbadi (Women)/ Samaguri High School Playground, Hockey/ Kaimari Play Ground, Handball/ Samaguri High School Playground, Athletics/ Nurul Amin Stadium, Gymnastics/ Nurul Amin Stadium, Football (Men)/ Rajib Gandhi Sports Complex , Bajia Gaon, (Women)/Puranigudam Stadium, Taekwondo/ Indoor Stadium, Nagaon Sports Stadium, Archery/ Dawson High School, Basketball/ Nurul Amin Stadium, Judo/ Police Reserve Stadium, Kabbadi (Men)/ Muamari playground, Netball/ Samaguri High School Playground, Sepak Takraw/Police Reserve Indoor Stadium, Weightlifting/ Nowgong College, Carrom/Nagaon Sports Association, Cycling/Nagaon, Samaguri, Kho Kho/ Bhutaigaon Sports playground, Boxing/ Nurul Aamin Stadium.
