Guwahati, Dec 16: Former secretary of the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) Pradip Buragohain was today arrested by Guwahati Police in a case related to misappropriation of ACA fund.
A senior police official said that Buragohain was arrested based on the FIR lodged by the ACA with Fatasil Ambari police recently. A case was registered under section 120 B, 406, 409, 420, 469 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and investigation is under way to unearth more documentary evidence.
