GUWAHATI, Aug 21 - Editor of Hindi daily Dainik Purvodoy Satyanand Pathak passed away here at private hospital at 11.30 am today.
Pathak (55) was admitted to the hospital last week following a cardiac arrest.
He leaves behind his mother, wife and two daughters. His last rites was performed at Bhootnath crematorium around 4 pm.
Governor PB Acharya has condoled the death of Pathak. The Governor lauded the contributions of Pathak in the field of journalism and said that the state has lost a great journalist.
