Rio conveys concern over Mumbai blasts

DIMAPUR, July 16 � Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has written to Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan conveying the deep concern of Nagaland Government over the serial bomb blasts that rocked Mumbai on July 13.

�These acts of terror deserve the highest level of condemnation by all right thinking citizens and should find no place in civilised society,� Rio said in his letter, adding that �the demented minds that have carried out these violent and inhuman acts must be given the highest examplary punishment as per the laws of the land�.

He also conveyed Nagaland�s solidarity and support to the citizens of Mumbai in their hour of grief and difficulty and expressed deepest condolences to the family members of the deceased while wishing the injured speedy recovery.
