GUWAHATI, Oct 19 - In the recently concluded CBSE East Zone Swimming Tournament, which was held at the Delhi Public School, Kanpur, Lavleen Das of Royal Global School (RGS) secured gold medal in 4X200m individual medley and silver medal in 50 m butterfly and 50m freestyle in the U-14 girls� event. Lavleen�s school mate Violina Das won silver medal in both 50m and 100m backstroke events in the U-19 girls� category. Both Violina and Lavleen have qualified for participation in the nationals level CBSE meet which will be held at Karan Public School, Pandav Nagar, Meerut from November 18 to 21st. Meanwhile, in the recently concluded first Assam Valley Invitational Inter School Swimming Meet which held at Assam Valley School, Tezpur from October 10 to 12. Royal Global School clinched the second position winning 33 medals, stated a release.
