GUWAHATI, Aug 30 - Assam Police, in a statement, today said that a website www.gurugovt.com published a fake advertisement for recruitment of Territorial Army Battalions in the 4 Corps zone.
The advertisement said that the 135 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Eco Assam would hold a recruitment rally from September 4 to 6 at Titaguri, Kokrajhar.
�It is pertinent to mention here that on August 7, a considerable number of aspirants from the entire State gathered at Thakurbari of Sonitpur district based on a similar fake advertisement and it caused undue disappointment and harassment to these individuals. All concerned are requested not to respond to such fake recruitment news,� the statement said.
