GUWAHATI, Jan 13 � The home department today effected a reshuffle in the police department transferring four officials of the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP).
While Tinsukia SP Akhilesh Singh has been transferred as SP Special Branch (Security), Commandant of 4th APBn AP Tiwari will be the new SP of Tinsukia. Deboraj Upadhaya, SSP (CID) will be the new Deputy Commissioner of Police (Administration) in the Police Commissionerate.
SP (Security) of the Assam Police Special Branch Partha S Mahanta will be the new Commandant of 4 APBn, Kahilipara.
