GUWAHATI, Aug 29 - The Physics Academy of North East (PANE) will hold a programme on Physics at the Don Bosco College, Tura, in Meghalaya on September 1.
The programme is a collaborative venture of PANE, outreach education programme of IIT-Guwahati, Department of Physics, and Alumni Association of Don Bosco College, Tura, a press release stated.
Prof Saurabh Basu of IIT-G will deliver the PANE talk on the chosen topic, �A Tale of Superconductivity: The Indian Connection.�
Also, there will be a scientific poster competition among students of different institutions on the theme, �Use of technology in energy conservation.� The latest issue of the PANE e-newsletter, edited by Dr Subhaditya Bhattacharya, will also be released on the occasion.
