NEW DELHI, July 20 � Union Home Minister P Chidambaram and Union Home Secretary RK Singh are leaving for Thimphu to attend the fourth meeting of Interior and Home Ministers and Secretaries of the SAARC nations.
The meeting of the Home Secretaries which gets under way on July 22, will review the progress made in implementation of the SAARC Regional Convention on Suppression of Terrorism and the SAARC Convention on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances.
The meeting of Home Secretaries would be followed by the meeting of SAARC Home Ministers on July 23. P Chidambaram will be attending this meeting.
