AIZAWL, Nov 21 � Mizoram became the 24th State in the country to launch Online Food Licensing & Registration on Wednesday. State Health Minister Lal Thanzara formally inaugurated the programme here.
Application and issue of license and registration for different food items shall now be done through Online/Internet. One may log in to http://foodlicensing.fssai.gov.in or follow FLRS link in the website www.ffsai.gov.in for the requisite license and registration.
The food items, as listed by the Union Government, include bottled water, all kinds of confectionary, milk, vegetables, fruits, etc., besides food items at tea stalls, restaurants and hotels.
