NEW DELHI, May 24 � Naba Kumar Sarania has the highest number of serious criminal cases pending against him among the newly-elected Lok Sabha MP s from Assam.
A list of 186 names of newly- elected Lok Sabha MPs was brought out by National Election Watch.
Naba Kumar Sarania has nine serious IPC cases pending against him, besides three other cases. Badruddin Ajmal of AIUDF, who represents Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency has two serious IPC cases pending against him besides another case.
Rajan Gohain of BJP has two serious cases pending, while Sushmita Dev has one case pending against her, but it is not a serious IPC category.
Rajiv Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav of RJD from Bihar has the highest number of 42 serious IPC case pending him.
