GUWAHATI, May 19 - People In Serving Assam (PISA), a newly formed charitable organisation working for underprivileged sections of society, undertook a massive outreach programme on Sunday to feed destitutes and homeless in various parts of Guwahati, as part of the NGO�s �Feeding the People� programme, stated a press release issued here today.
PISA also provides free coaching to underprivileged schoolchildren, and distributes clothes among the poor.
The NGO will hold a formal launch in the city soon with the help of its patrons and well-wishers, the release further stated.
