Hijacker of 1999 Indian Airlines flight gunned down in Pakistan

Guwahati, March 9: Mistry Zahoor Ibrahim, one of the terrorists who hijacked the Air India plane, IC-814, in 1999, was shot dead on March 1 in Karachi, Pakistan, said reports.

As per reports, he was shot twice in the head by unidentified gunmen at point-blank range in Karachi's Akhtar Colony. With the killing of Ibrahim, only two out of five Jaish-e-Mohammed hijackers are alive in Pakistan including Ibrahim Azhar, elder brother of Masood Azhar and Rauf Asghar.
