Delhi court orders framing of charges against BJP's Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh
Guwahati, May 11: In a significant development, a Delhi court on Friday ordered framing of sexual harassment and other charges against the former Wrestling Federation of India chief and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in connection with a case where six female wrestlers had levelled allegations of sexual harassment against him.
The court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Priyanka Rajpoot mentioned that there was sufficient material to frame charges against the BJP MP to proceed with the sexual harassment case involving five women wrestlers.
However, the court acquitted the BJP MP of the sexual harassment charges levelled by the sixth wrestler.
