Nagaland MLA passes away

DIMAPUR, Sept 23 - Sitting MLA and Advisor of Excise and Sericulture, Government of Nagaland, Imtikimzuk Longkumer, passed away in New Delhi yesterday. His mortal remains was brought to Dimapur today. He was a legislator from Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP).

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today recalled his personal association with late Imtikumzuk as a friend, colleague and gentleman of few words who always meant what he said. Rio was speaking at the send-off service organised at Dimapur Airport in honour of the departed leader. Paying rich tributes to Imtikumzuk, NDPP president and PDA chairman Chingwang Konyak recalled his association with the departed leader. �He was very active and rose to the present position from the grassroots,� he said.
