MORIGAON, Aug 13 - The Morigaon district administration is all set for the Tiwa Autonomous Council (TAC) poll in 19 seats of the district, to be held on August 19. Addressing a press conference here, DC Rakesh Kumar said over 1.32 lakh voters will exercise their franchise in the poll in Morigaon district.
The State Election Council has appointed three observers for the poll. Kanak Ch Sarma, general observer, visited Morigaon on Tuesday to take stock of the situation. A total of 1,500 polling officials will be engaged in the poll, the DC said.
