GUWAHATI, April 25 - Lenien Jamir of Assam lifted the AITA Championship Series title in the girls� U-16 event.
The championship was held at the Pro Star Tennis Academy, Gurgaon. In the final yesterday, after going down in the first set the Assam girl strongly fought back with a spirited game and convincingly beat Renee Singh of Rajasthan 4-6, 6-1, 6-1. This was stated in a AATA press release.
