DOOMDOOMA, Aug 28 - Doomdooma Press Club ( DPC ) condoled the death of eminent journalist, former Rajya Sabha member and India�s High Commissioner in Britain Kuldip Nayar.
In a condolence message, DPC president Arjun Baruah and secretary Manoj Dutta felt that Nayar would be remembered by the people of Assam not only as a journalist, but also for his wholehearted support to the Assam Agitation.
Tinsukia District Journalists� Association (TDJA) also mourned the death of Kuldip Nayar. In a condolence message, TDJA president Anuj Kalita and secretary Manoranjan Das claimed that his contributions to the field of journalism would always inspire the budding journalists of the country.
