Janasanyog staff distribute relief materials

GUWAHATI, Aug 2 - The members of the All Assam Janasanyog Employees� Association (AAJEA) distributed relief materials among the flood-affected people of Chandrapur area of Kamrup (Metro) district.

According to a press release issued by the Association here today, its members procured food items spending the money they collected among themselves and distributed the items among the flood-hit people of Rajabari, Tintukura, Bengenabari, etc, villages of Chandrapur area. They also distributed the clothes donated by many people, among the flood-hit people.

The team of the Association comprised its advisor Rajiv Paniphukan, its president Ashok Saikia, secretary Nilamani Das, vice-president Ajit Kumar Baishya and members Ranjit Bhuyan and Tarendra Basumatary, among others, said the press release.
