GUWAHATI, Nov 12 - The Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) organised 6th Dr Gurucharan Baruah Memorial Inter College Volleyball Championship got off at the GSA Volleyball Coaching Centre, Judges� Field here today.
Altogether seven boys and four girls teams ate taking part in the three-day championship which will be played in league-cum-knock out basis.
The participating teams are � (Boys) IIT, Gauhati University, College of Veterinary Science, Guwahati College, Damdama College, Hajo, Laxmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE) and Cotton College. (Girls) IIT, Cotton College, Guwahati College and Gauhati University.
Today�s results: (Boys) LNIPE bt Damdama College 25-20, 26-24, GU beat Cotton 25-4, 25-14, IIT bt College of Veterinary Science 25-17, 25-14.
