GUWAHATI, Jan 27: The Joint Forum of Trade Unions of Public Sector General Insurance Companies staged a hunger strike in the city today over their demands. According to a press release issued here, the demands include: protection of public sector general insurance companies, immediate resumption of wage talks, abolition of NPS and 1995 pension scheme for all and updating pension and improvement in family pension.
