AIZAWL, April 16 - In a joint operation, Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department officials and Young Mizo Association (YMA)�s anti-narcotic squad Supply Reduction Service (SRS) members seized 248 gms of heroin worth around Rs 9.50 lakh here.
Excise and Narcotics department officials said one Lalnunmawii (44) was arrested in this connection on Wednesday and booked under sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
The accused reportedly confessed that she transported the contraband to Aizawl from the Myanmar border. � PTI
