Guwahati, April 19: A woman was injured in a leopard attack at Loco colony in Guwahati's Pandu area today.
As per reports, the leopard has been straying in the area since morning when it suddenly attacked the woman.
The woman identified as Manju Bhattacharya has sustained injuries and was later taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Forest officials informed that the leopard has been successfully rescued.
The leopard has created terror in the area, following which the forest officials have directed the people to remain indoors.
