Guwahati: Gurukul Grammer School to be declared containment zone after several staff test Covid-19 +ve

Guwahati, Jan 18: Numerous Covid-19 positive cases have been identified in Gurukul Grammer Senior Secondary School in Guwahati on Tuesday

As per sources, several teachers have tested positive for the virus out of which eight have been kept under home isolation.

The DC of Kamrup Metro, Pallav Gopal Jha, while confirming this news to The Assam Tribune informed that the area will soon be declared as a containment zone.

It needs to be mentioned here that as per the new protocols issued by the State Government earlier this month, the educational institutes were directed to hold offline classes for class IX and above on alternative days.
