JALUKBARI, July 26 - Gauhati University Executive Council members led by the Vice Chancellor, met Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal yesterday and donated Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister�s Relief Fund.
In course of their interaction with the Chief Minister, the Executive Council members also drew his attention to some important issues concerning the university such as land for a new campus, problems created at the entry and exit points of the university due to the new flyovers at Jalukbari and serious waterlogging on the GU campus.
The Chief Minister assured them that he would look into the issues raised.
