Flood relief

TINSUKIA, Sept 20 - The Tinsukia unit of Round Table India, a sociocultural organization, organized a relief camp at Saikhowa Mukali Mancha at Saikhowa on Sunday.

The organization distributed grocery and other items to altogether 350 families, identified after a survey as affected in the last wave flood in the Dhola, Saikhowa and Talap areas. Each family was given 15 kg of rice, 2 kg of dal (lentil), 1 kg each of atta, sugar, salt and mustard oil, 200 gm of milk powder, 12 packets of biscuit, 100 gm of spices, two pieces of toilet soaps, one mosquito net and a plastic bucket.
