Doomdooma, March 27: Along with 46 other constituencies of Assam, the first phase of polling began in 270 polling booths of 125 Doomdooma LAC at 7 am on Saturday amidst tight security.
Voters thronged to their respective booths since morning to exercise their franchise. This time strict COVID-19 protocols have been followed during the polling. In the first two hours, no incidents have been reported and polling is being organised peacefully.
