Gossaigaon, March 13: Dr.Ajit Boro, Principal of Gossaigaon B.Ed College has been conferred with the Sahitya Akademi Award 2020 for his book "Gothosa Bisombi".
The news of his achievement spread like wildfire and the people of Kokrajhar and Gossaigaon blessed Dr Boro for his relentless efforts to get this prestigious award.
B.Ed College students assembled at the college campus and expressed their happiness over the winning of the prestigious award by their Principal. He got inspiration for writing from Brahma Dharma preacher late Baba Jogeswar.
Dr.Boro has written 15 books on poems, biography, essays etc. cHe also composed a book on Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma, the preacher of Brahma Dharma.
While speaking to the media, Dr Boro said that the credit of this award goes to his wife Bhabani Boro, his friends and the residents of Kokrajhar.
