Diphu Civil Hospital gets new cabin block

DIPHU, Jan 7 - The new cabin block of Diphu Civil Hospital here was inaugurated on Wednesday by Ashok Teron, Executive Member (EM) in-charge of Health and Family Welfare, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).

The inaugural function was also attended by Bidya Sing Rongpi, EM, PHE, KAAC, Dr Kareng Rongpipi, Joint Director, Health and Family Welfare, Karbi Anglong, Dr Nakul Shyam, Superintendent, Diphu Civil Hospital, and Dr Borsing Rongpi, District Malaria Officer.

Addressing a public meeting on the occasion, Teron highlighted the comprehensive steps adopted in the health sector to provide the best services to the people. In his speech, Rongpi assured the people of free supply of water in the greater Diphu area.

The new paying cabin building has seven luxury rooms, including VVIP rooms, suites and deluxe rooms.
