MORIGAON, Sept 26 - Dhupdhara Football Club, Goalpara entered the semifinal of the 46th Motiram Bora Football Tournament beating Katahguri Yuva Sangha by 5-4 goals via tie breaker in the third quarter final match being played at the Khirode Boruah stadium here today.
The match ended in a goalless draw in the stipulated time. In the tie breaker, Kamal Das, Robin Boro, Ranadip Boro, Akhoy Rabha of Dhupdhara FC hit the target while for Katahguri Yuva Sangha Himjyoti Medhi, Satyajit Boro, Raju Basumatary and Ritz found the target. In sudden death Abhi Rabha of Dhupdhara FC beat the opponent goal keeper and Nayanjyoti Konwar failed to hit home.
Earlier, Sonaipariya Football Club, Morigaon entered the semifinal yesterday defeating NF Railway, Maligaon by 5-3 goals in tie breaker after playing 1-1 draw in the regulation time.
