GUWAHATI, Sept 19 � A deer was rescued by the villagers of Bhuragaon this morning. According to forest official sources, an adult male deer coming out from Orang National Park was washed away by the floodwater and was rescued by the villagers on the bank of the Brahmaputra.
Forest officials later handed over the deer to the State Zoo, Guwahati.
