Day 9 of Hornbill fest

DIMAPUR, Dec 9 - The Day 9 of the Hornbill festival was marked by traditional fire making competition, �Dare to Swallow Fire� and painting competition at Naga Heritage Village Kisama today.

Seventeen tribes displayed their cultural presentations in the morning and evening sessions.

Department of Youth Resources and Sports organised the traditional fire making competition amongst the cultural troupes. In the competition, the Chakhesang cultural troupe bagged the first position while Chang and Lotha tribes were declared second and third respectively.

The Artist Corner, one of the main attractions of this year�s Hornbill Festival, has been drawing a large number of international and national tourists as well as local visitors.
