ITANAGAR, May 16 (PTI): Facing a rout all over the country, Congress retained power in Arunachal Pradesh by winning 35 seats and securing a majority in the 60-member Assembly.
According to the results declared so far, Congress has bagged 35 seats, including 11 uncontested, and leading in 5.
BJP won four seats and was leading in five.
People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) won three seats and was leading in 2. An independent won one seat.
