Congress is outdated party, did nothing for development of Assam: Amit Shah

Morigaon, March 26: Addressing a huge election party campaign at Dohali-Mokoria near Jagiroad, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Congress is outdated with respect to the development of Assam and North East and the people must reject it if they want all round development of Assam and Assamese people.

The Union Minister who addressed the gathering in support of BJP candidate of Jagiroad LAC, Piyush Hazarika, said that the 15th Assam Assembly election will be crucial for the state of Assam as Bharatiya Janata Party is standing by nationalist force while its opponent Congress stood for the narrow interest of power game.

Amit Shah further said that as far as development is concerned Sonowal-led government did a lot in the last five years adding that BJP-led State government made Assam terrorist free, agitation free, and infiltration free.

The alliance of Congress-AIUDF as unholy Amit Shah said that for the greater interest of the indigenous people of State, this unholy alliance must be rejected by the electorates.
